Sleeping Porch from Heather Ross

Sleeping Porch Heather Ross
SP Lookbook 01

See the Sleeping Porch Lookbook for lots of sewing inspiration!

Heather Ross returns with Sleeping Porch, printed entirely on cotton lawn. Heather’s signature style of whimsical illustrations will delight all ages, for while her collections are often designed with kids in mind, they also pull on the heart strings of the kid at heart. The collection is a harmoious balance of bold blooms and tiny garden critters, with a variety of negative space that will delight quilters and apparel sewers alike. We have yardage, bundles and Quilt Kits, and be sure to check out Windham's Lookbook for lots of sewing inspiration!

If you pre-ordered this collection, we are happy to say all pre-orders have shipped! Sorry for the delay, the solid Jade print was late in arriving to Windham, so orders containing that print were on hold.

Friedlander from Carolyn Friedlander

Carolyn and Lindsay at Quilt Market

Here at Hawthorne Threads, we look forward to each collection from Carolyn Friedlander whose collections are always personal yet utterly approachable. Friedlander tells the story of her grandfather whose namesake and legacy has shaped her own life, much like the myriad boughs on a tree that tend to make their way into Carolyn's work. We always enjoy seeing how everyone adds to the story by interpreting the fabrics into handmade pieces. For as Carolyn reminds us, "it’s about all of us shaping the world around us and leaving our own marks in whatever way that may be." We have Quilting Cottons, Lawn and Pre-Cuts, and check out several new Quilt Patterns from Carolyn!
