January Messy Box from A Beautiful Mess Get yours at www.ABeautifulMess.comThere's something so exciting and refreshing about January! I love this time of year. It's such a good time to think over past accomplishments and plan out new goals. For me, getting my goals down on paper and tracking them regularly is the best way to cross them off my list. I love how light and beautiful the January Messy Box is! It makes it perfect for getting my goals and special January memories into my album.

January Messy Box from A Beautiful Mess1In January, I've been focusing on working on my goals every day so they become habits. I love documenting the details of these goals, which helps me reflect on the goal, and seeing it on paper helps motivate me to work harder.

A Beautiful Mess January Messy BoxA Beautiful Mess January Messy BoxThe 9 x 12 papers in the Messy Box are always so pretty. I wanted to try something new for me, so I included round photographs into this layout. I used a circle punch to cut out 8 photographs and one journaling card. I just love how it turned out! I think my circle punch is going to quickly become a new favorite tool.

A Beautiful Mess January Messy Box The January Messy Box is great for capturing time with your family or other people and values that are really special to you. The birds of a feathers journaling cards and embellishments are so sweet! What goals or happy memories are you documenting with your Messy Box? xo. Laura

LAS Mini-Sock Potpourri II

This month is the second of the PotPourri mini-socks. I picked diagonal stitches, most of which I’ve been wanting to try. I’ve made samplers of stitches that look interesting to me since the mid-70’s. It’s a great way to try them out. The outline is above, click on the thumbnail to get a full-sized template. […]
