One Room Challenge: Week Two!

April 13, 2017   /   byLauren Foster  / Categories :  Feeds

Here we are at week two! The One Room Challenge always seems to fly by, and this week was no different. I thought I would share some inspiration photos of living rooms I love, that give off the same vibe I am going for. Hayden and I share a secret pinterest board and will be pinning back and forth to share ideas and put a picture to our words. This is so helpful when working with a designer to really allow them to get a ‘feel’ for what you love!

One thing that’s clear is that I love the midcentury modern look. My only qualm with it all along has been that it’s been too cold, so I really want to warm up the space with with warm colors – like a soft pink and shades of blue – and bohemian accents. Like I mentioned earlier, it is so easy for me to go all over the design spectrum, so really trying to keep my style on track. Finding inspiration photos has been so helpful for that!

I’m meeting up with my gal Hayden this week to talk through some more design plans and DIY projects, our coffee table is on it’s way to us, and I need to decide on furniture. Can’t wait to share more peeks at the space!

The only areas that are a continuous single color are the words. While most of the colors are used in many places, none of the areas are large. This […]

Los Angeles Lingerie Fabric + Trim Shopping Guide

On the last day of the Mimi G Sewing Conference, the entire group hit up LA’s Fashion District to fabric shop. Pattern Review: Scroop Henrietta Maria Top

Hi Readers! I am undoubtedly a dresses girl, but sometimes I want to throw on some slim-fitting jeans.  The thing is, when I wear skinny jeans, I don’t want to pair them with a curve-hugging top, and instead want to opt for a longer looser fitting blouse that covers up my mid-section.  Yep, I don’t…
