Tilly and the Buttons

Lexy here, and I'm super excited to tell you that we're exhibiting at not one, but two shows in London this September, and we'd love to see you there!

We love exhibiting at shows - it's so much fun to meet so many lovely, creative folk, and we love having a chat about what you've been making using our sewing patterns - plus, it's our favourite thing when people come and say hello wearing something they've made from a Tilly and the Buttons pattern!

Show are a really fun opportunity to meet other like-minded crafters, be inspired by what's on offer, attend a talk or workshop, and come and see our patterns in real life, rather than on a screen.

There are always some great deals up for grabs at fairs, and I know I'm not alone when I say that I always leave the show with a lighter purse, but pull of inspiration and armed with the tools for a plethora of new projects! (#fabricaddict). You can also have a rifle through our sample rail, and hopefully be inspired by seeing some of our patterns made up into garments.

The Handmade Fair is so much fun! This will be our third time exhibiting, and we cannot wait. Come say hi at Stand E4, where we'll have the full range of printed Tilly and the Buttons patterns for you to check out. There'll also be a range of workshops and talks on that you can take advantage of, and there's always prosecco close at hand!

We can't wait to exhibit at this brand new show! We'll be at Stand E55 with our award-winning sewing patterns, and plenty of made up samples for you to have a look at. Past Great British Sewing Bee contestants will also be at the show to host workshops and talks, so it's the perfect opportunity to hear their pearls of wisdom.

September is coming around quickly - we're in a flurry of activity here at Tilly Towers getting our patterns ready and planning which handmade outfits we're going to wear - can't wait to see you at a show (or two!) in yours!

HI DARLINGS! This #DIY is a winner. I made this top like a month ago and I had yet to find time to make the skirt and since I wanted to post them together I waited.  The patterns I used are NEW LOOK 6507 and SIMPLICITY 8388  and a gingham check I found in my stash […]

Push your Needlepoint

Today we’ll finish up talking about balance and exciting needlepoint by looking at a piece I’m finishing up and talking about it. The design is from Two Sisters Needlepoint and has three small Lily-style shifts. I loved it immediately because it puts those iconic shifts in a clever small package. My philosophy for stitching canvases […]
