Who doesn’t love a delicious ooey gooey Smores Bars? We have a simple recipe that makes our favorite camping recipe right at home in a delicious bar form!

Our family decided to purchase an RV last year, we’ve been camping every weekend during the summer months and we LOVE it! My boys spend their time fishing, kayaking, hiking and lots of outdoor activities together.

It’s amazing because when we’re home they just want to be on their video games and argue constantly!

But, camping is a different story. They get along and actually enjoy being together! Why wouldn’t we want to get out every weekend?

One of my favorite parts of camping is trying new recipes over the campfire! We’ve done everything from a Crawfish Boil to delicious Campfire Brownies! They’re all delicious and every weekend it’s a new adventure with the cooking and the outdoor activities!

Of course, when you go camping you automatically think of making Smores over the fire. But, why not make this delicious Smores Bars version at home. That way you can always enjoy the sweet treat! Check out the easy recipe below!

How to Make Five Ingredient Smores Bars

Ingredients You Need

  • 1 Box Golden Graham Cereal
  • 1 Stick Butter
  • 1 Bag Mini Marshmallows
  • 1 Cup Chocolate Chips
  • 2 TBSP Peanut Butter

Instructions

Start by spraying a 9×13 inch pan with Nonstick spray. Next, melt the marshmallows (except 1/2 cup), peanut butter, and the butter together in a microwave-safe bowl. Mix the Golden Graham cereal into the melted marshmallow mixture until it’s well combined. Stir in the remainder of the marshmallows and chocolate chips. Spread the mixture into the 9×13 pan. Let it set up before cutting into squares. Enjoy!

What recipes do you make when you head out camping? Do you try to make a version of your favorites at home or are they just for your camping trips?
