Life’s a BeachJuly 3, 2017 / byLauren Foster / Categories : Feeds
We are back from a week at the beach with family. My absolute favorite time on the beach is 4:30 or so until sunset. The sun’s going down, the beach traffic has slowed down, tide is low, and the temperatures are just perfect. Since Piper goes to bed at 7, we’d push the envelope every night and stay out there as late as we all possibly could. Piper was so content running and chasing birds, sprinting into the ocean (with mom and dad right behind), and playing in the sand. I loved seeing my girl with a heart for the water, just like her mama. It was such a fun, laid back beach trip. We were in our suits until after we put Piper down for bed, and would have a late dinner by candlelight and chat for hours before going to bed ourselves.
I absolutely love this coverup and wanted to share it with you guys. It’s so flowy and elegant, and makes you feel put together on the beach even when you’re sweaty and sandy, and your hair is a mess. I’m also obsessed with this color lately, so when I saw it in olive I had to get it!
I hope you’ve had a wonderful weekend, and have a great 4th of July!!

In her Field Guide to Birds, Carolyn Hedge Baird recommends Chain Stitch as one of only a few stitches great for outlining. I agree and I love to use and recommend it for thick outlines. There’s little problem with it if the line is straight or curvy. But what if your area has corners or […]read more
